American Lowline Cattle were developed in the Trangie Agricultural Research Centre located in New South Wales, Australia in the year of 1929. They originated from Aberdeen Angus seed stock from Canada. Lowline Cattle are a compact black polled cattle. They are known for their easy calving and marbel well off grass which makes them a good choice for producing meat for a family looking to raise their own beef.
The bulls mature at about 43 inches and the cows at 39 inches or less. Due to their smaller size and docile temperament, they are perfect for the hobby farmer or person with limited acreage.
